Cookie policy

The short version

Tendervane uses strictly necessary cookies only: the ones that keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising, tracking or cross-site cookies, and our analytics (Vercel Analytics) are cookieless and anonymous. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here: under EU rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and we have nothing else.

The cookies we set

• Authentication and session cookies (set by Clerk, our sign-in provider) so that you stay logged in securely. Lifetime: session to a few days.
• Security cookies used to prevent cross-site request forgery and abuse. Lifetime: session.
• During checkout, Stripe sets cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention, governed by Stripe's cookie policy.

What we deliberately do not use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No social media pixels.
• No cross-site tracking of any kind.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent signing in, because they are what signing in is made of.

Changes

If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, this page will change and a consent banner will appear before any such cookie is set. Defaulting to privacy is the plan, not the exception.
