TenderNed is the official Dutch procurement portal, it is free, and public Dutch tender notices appear on its announcements platform. Keep your alerts running. The gap is timing: an alert fires at publication, and tender advisors publish that buyer engagement should start 12 to 24 months before that moment. Tendervane reads the official award data to estimate which IT contracts return to market, months before the alert exists.

Straight answers
Does Tendervane replace TenderNed?
No, and it does not try to. TenderNed is the official announcements platform for Dutch public procurement; the procedure itself may run on TenderNed or through a connected procurement system. Tendervane is an intelligence layer on top of the official data. Every dossier links to the source notice so you can verify each fact where it was published.
If TenderNed is free, what am I paying for?
Time and structure. The facts are public: awards, values, suppliers, dates. Turning them into who holds what, what it is worth, when it likely returns and whom to call takes the parsing, entity resolution, scoring and refresh work that is the product. You are buying the months of head start, not the data.
How reliable are the renewal estimates?
They are estimates and the product never pretends otherwise. Each one carries a basis, an explicit end date from the notice, a computed duration, or an enrichment, plus a confidence level. Facts from the notice and our inference are visually separated on every dossier.
Is using this data allowed?
Yes. TED and TenderNed publications are public procurement records, published precisely so the market can see them. Tendervane reads the official publications and cites them.
