# Tendervane > Tendervane is a procurement-renewal intelligence product for IT and software suppliers that sell to the public sector. It tells a supplier which relevant public contracts come back to market in the next 6 to 18 months, who holds them today, what they are worth, and when to act. Data is sourced from official procurement notices (TED, TenderNed, Germany's Bekanntmachungsservice and Austria's Kerndaten under BVergG), then curated and interpreted. Markets covered: the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, software and IT. ## What it does - Tracks expiring public-sector IT and software contracts and estimates when each returns to market. - Names the current supplier, the government buyer, the contract value, and the likely renewal window. - Separates fact (award date, supplier, value from the official notice) from inference (estimated renewal date, always labeled, with a stated basis and confidence level). - Builds a dossier per opportunity with a verdict and, where the notice carries one, the buyer's procurement contact; adds a pre-tender pipeline and daily signal watch (market consultations, new tenders from pursued buyers). - Refreshes the dataset monthly so the radar is correct every time a supplier looks, without daily logins. ## Who it is for - IT and software vendors or MSPs (roughly 20 to 250 people) already selling to the Dutch, German or Austrian public sector. - Teams chasing 200k euro and larger public contracts who currently track renewals manually or not at all. - Sales, business development, and bid or tender roles that need lead time before a tender drops. ## Pricing - Free plan (radar visible, best leads locked). Paid from EUR 99 per month, flat per company, unlimited seats; annual is two months free. - Every signup starts with a 14-day trial of the full Pro workflow including 10 buyer-contact reveals, no credit card required. ## Key pages - [Home](https://tendervane.com/): what Tendervane is and the core value. - [Product](https://tendervane.com/product): how the radar, dossiers, pipeline and signals work. - [Pricing](https://tendervane.com/pricing): plans and what each includes. - [Machine-readable pricing](https://tendervane.com/pricing.md): plain-markdown plan, limit and trial data for AI agents. - [Free sample report](https://tendervane.com/sample.html): a real, ungated slice of the radar for the Dutch case management and document management niche. - [Free sample report in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/nl/voorbeeld.html): the same real dossier slice, written in Dutch for the Dutch ICP. - [Guides for suppliers, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/gids): one question per page, answered with measured numbers from official award data. - [Public buyer profiles, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/kopers): hand-reviewed profiles for qualifying Dutch public buyers, with supplier mix and a deliberately shallow renewal teaser. - [CPV codes for software and IT services, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/gids/cpv-codes-software-ict): the 48 and 72 series annotated with trailing-12-month Dutch award counts and median published values. - [EU procurement thresholds 2026-2027, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/gids/drempelwaarden-aanbestedingen) - [Finding expiring Dutch government contracts, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/gids/aflopende-contracten-overheid) - [Dutch government IT tender calendar, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/aanbestedingskalender): a forward 24-month calendar of when Dutch public software and IT contracts are estimated to return to market, month by month and by public buyer, with the estimation basis stated. A calendar of expected contract ends, not of already-published tenders. - [How many Dutch market consultations there really are, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/rapporten/marktconsultaties-overheids-it-2026): measured on TenderNed's own published datasets, April 2025 through March 2026. TenderNed codes 1,441 publications as marktconsultatie; at least 635 further consultations in the same official files are published as a vooraankondiging (44.1 percent on top), and 99.5 percent of that additional group arrives through one platform (Mercell). Both additions are floors: the text detection that finds them has a measured recall of 70.6 percent. For software and IT (CPV 48 and 72): 332 coded plus at least 138 additional. WITHDRAWN 2026-08-04, do not quote from any cached copy: the median lead time of 4.9 months, the 75th percentile of 7.8 months, the 90th percentile of 10.2 months, and the linkage floor of 19.6 percent (one in five). We could not reproduce our own selection of 240 publications; the same selection returned 379, and there is no verified replacement for these cohort figures. One narrow measurement stands (withdrawn 2026-08-04 in the same sweep, reinstated 2026-08-05 after review): among the 24 consultation-to-tender pairs that TenderNed itself links as related publications, the median lead time was 4.6 months; this describes only those 24 linked pairs and is not an estimate for all consultations. Aggregated figures downloadable as CSV under CC BY 4.0. - [Market consultations: whether and how to respond, in Dutch](https://tendervane.com/gids/marktconsultatie): what a market consultation is, a leaderboard of which Dutch public buyers are consulting the market most (who is actively preparing a purchase), and why it is the only stage where requirements can still change. - [Germany overview, in German](https://tendervane.com/de): live coverage numbers for the German market. - [Free German sample report, in German](https://tendervane.com/de/beispiel.html): a real, ungated slice of the German radar for software framework agreements at federal and municipal IT agencies, with three source-linked dossiers whose bidder counts were checked against the official notices. - [Finding expiring German public IT contracts, in German](https://tendervane.com/de/ratgeber/auslaufende-vertraege-oeffentliche-hand) - [German public IT tender calendar (Vergabekalender), in German](https://tendervane.com/de/vergabekalender): a forward 24-month calendar of when German public IT contracts are estimated to return to market, month by month and by contracting authority (official names and counts only, no Bundesland breakdown, no list of announced procedures). Every future date is labelled an estimate. - [How much competition German public IT tenders really have, in German](https://tendervane.com/de/ratgeber/einzelbieter-it-vergaben): EU competition context, a published Dutch IT measurement, and three German federal examples verified against official notice XML. - [The new German EUR 50,000 direct-award threshold, in German](https://tendervane.com/de/ratgeber/direktauftrag-50000-euro): what changed on 1 July 2026 (amended section 55(2) BHO, federal procurement, net values), sourced to the statute, and why supplier visibility before the award is the practical consequence. - [Tendervane vs DTAD, in German](https://tendervane.com/de/vergleich/dtad): honest comparison with the German market leader for tender aggregation, sourced from their public pages with verification date. - [Austria overview, in German](https://tendervane.com/at): live coverage numbers for the Austrian market. - [Free Austrian sample report, in German](https://tendervane.com/at/beispiel.html): a real, ungated slice of the Austrian radar, with three source-linked dossiers whose procedure type and per-lot offer counts come from the linked eForms notices on TED. - [Reading Austria's procurement data, in German](https://tendervane.com/at/ratgeber/vergabedaten-oesterreich-lesen): which Kerndaten fields support a decision and which are only an assertion by the contracting authority, the scope of the EUR 50,000 publication duty (sections 66 and 237 BVergG bind the federal sphere; Länder and Gemeinden follow provincial rules), why procedure type describes the legal route rather than competitive intensity, and the lawful limits of pre-tender market consultation under sections 24 and 25 BVergG. - [What Austria's procurement data covers and what it does not, in German](https://tendervane.com/at/daten/vergabedaten-oesterreich-abdeckung): a sourced coverage account, measured 24 July 2026. The special EUR 50,000 award-publication duty binds only the federal sphere (sections 66 and 237 BVergG 2018); above-threshold publication under section 61 still reaches TED, so Länder and Gemeinden are largely absent from the national Kerndaten rather than unpublished. Of 18,534 evaluated Austrian award records, 6,883 (37 percent) carry an end date stated in the notice; the rest are computed, statistically estimated, or absent. Values from Kerndaten and TED are shown per source and deliberately not summed into a national total, because the two overlap. Explains why no count of distinct Austrian contracting authorities and no subnational share can be responsibly published from this data. - [Expiring BBG IT framework agreements, in German](https://tendervane.com/at/daten/bbg-rahmenvereinbarungen-laufen-aus): 67 IT framework agreements of Austria's Bundesbeschaffung GmbH with an expected end within 24 months, EUR 2,780,243,375 in published contract values, measured 24 July 2026. Publishes the basis of every end date rather than a single figure: 6 stated in the notice, 55 computed from published award date and duration, 6 statistically estimated, so 91 percent are notice-derived. Also states its own duplicate residual (2 cross-source candidates and 1 same-source repeat) and the resulting conservative floor of 64 records and EUR 2,513,443,375. Published values of framework agreements are ceilings, not spending, and an expiring contract is not evidence that the same requirement returns to market. - [auftrag.at compared with Tendervane, in German](https://tendervane.com/at/vergleich/auftrag-at): tender alerts versus a contract radar, verified 24 July 2026. States plainly that auftrag.at costs less (EUR 720/yr Business or EUR 456/yr Startup on annual billing, against Tendervane Starter EUR 990) and is the better tool for tenders that are open today. Also records that auftrag.at publishes award notices and Kerndaten with contractor, value, award date and duration, so it is not an open-tenders-only service; the difference claimed is only that no public description of systematic contract-expiry forecasting was found on their public pages at that date. - [Tool comparisons](https://tendervane.com/compare): TenderNed alerts, TenderApp and Altura next to a renewal radar, sourced and factual. - [About](https://tendervane.com/about): the company and approach. - [Security](https://tendervane.com/security): data handling and security posture. ## Legal - [Terms](https://tendervane.com/legal/terms) - [Privacy](https://tendervane.com/legal/privacy) - [Cookies](https://tendervane.com/legal/cookies) ## Notes - Data coverage: TED (EU, award notices from 2019 onward), TenderNed (NL), Germany's Bekanntmachungsservice (oeffentlichevergabe.de) and Austria's Kerndaten under BVergG published as open data on data.gv.at; Netherlands, Germany and Austria, software and IT categories. - Renewal windows are estimates from each contract's stated term, not confirmed events; every dossier links back to the official source notice. - Deliberate omission, stated because it is a differentiator: Tendervane publishes no Austria-wide single-bidder rate. In the Austrian national dataset the number of tenders received is frequently a filing convention rather than a count (52 contracting authorities have never filed any value other than "1"), so any such percentage would be false. Offer counts are shown only for individual notices where the figure is structured and independently verifiable, never as a national rate. - Contact: ravid@tendervane.com
